Meeting, Tuesday, May 21, 2019

If you are a new member, welcome! If you are still working as a school employee, we know that it is unlikely that you can attend, but we want to keep you aware of what we do. If you are a cash member who pays dues once a year and decide to change to dues deduction, please let us know. Your reward will be $10 off your first luncheon at Joshua’s Restaurant after you sign up. Any new person who joins us will receive $10 toward their lunch.

CCSRA LUNCH – Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at NOON

Joshua’s Restaurant
113 N. DelGuzzi Drive
Port Angeles

Our guest speaker will be Melissa Williams, Executive Director of Feiro Marine Life Center. We will be invited to visit the center after the luncheon if we would like to go.

Let us know by 3:00 pm Sunday, May 19, 2019, if possible, that you will be attending by calling Darlene Jones (360-457-5352), Jill Oakes (360-417-3012) or Marcia Homer (360-683-4317).  It’s okay to come even if you miss the deadline. We just like to have a general idea so the restaurant knows how many places to set. Sometimes the restaurant workers have to scramble to set up more tables, but they are happy to have us.

Menu items start at $8.
Soup, Soup and Salad, just Salad Bar, a Lunch Special, or off the Menu
Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner items are offered.

The officers for the 2019 – 2020 year will be  president, Lora Brabant; vice president, Beverly Brown; secretary, Linda Boyd; and treasurer,  Arlene Morganroth. Marcia Homer will continue as membership chair. Mary Bell will continue as Sunshine Person. We still need a new historian. Please consider volunteering for this position.

Books that have been donated over the course of the year will be delivered this month to First Step in Port Angeles and to Head Start in Sequim. You are welcome to bring more books to the luncheon.

BOOK CLUB: at 1:00 pm on second Thursday
This month it was on the 9th. Next month it will be on the 13th.

At 1:00 pm on the second Thursday of each month, the CCSRA book club meets in the “Library” at Traylor’s Restaurant.  Bring a book to share or learn about some books you might want to read – an informal meeting of folks who like to read. Come and enjoy the camaraderie and a meal or snack. This group meets year round.

Coming Meeting Dates:

Our potluck picnic will be June 18. Please mark your calendars. We hope to see you! Please contact me if you have questions about our meetings. The first meeting for the fall will be on September 17th.
