We’re putting together baskets to be raffled at the convention.  Anything you make or donate will be accepted.  Local items are especially appreciated.

Please donate gently used books for a Book Sale to benefit PAC (Political Action Committee) at the convention.

BOOK CLUB: April 14 and May 12 at 1:00 (new time)

The second Thursday of the month in the Library at Traylor’s Restaurant at 1:30.  Bring a book to share or learn about some books you might want to read.  An informal meeting of folks who like to read.


We meet on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May with lunch at noon, followed by a program.

March 15 Meeting Minutes Summary

*Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, September-May, at noon at Joshua’s Restaurant in Port Angeles. The Executive Board meeting precedes the general meeting at 10:00 a.m. and are open to all members.  We welcome new members!

*Officers for the 2016-17 year will be nominated at the April 19 meeting. The historian and activity director committee chair positions are open.  If you would like to serve as an officer or committee chair, please contact Beverly Brown or Linda Frazer.

*Curt Horne suggested we write thank you notes to retiring State Senator Dave Hargrove. He also suggested we contact our legislators on three points:   1. The legislature appropriate the money to pay the current and back share of Plan1 retirement funds.  2. The $150 medical benefit should be left in the budget.  3. The legislature restore the medical benefit to $180 and restore the COLAs.

*The March program was presented by ONP Deputy Superintendent Lee Taylor.

*The April program will be a presentation by George Smith of AMBA and a program on western South America by Gary Gleason. Nominations for officers and the Community Service Award will be accepted.
